The latest tendency in the world of online gambling regulation is the co-operation of different gaming commissions. It fact, it strengthens regulatory mechanisms for gambling sites and poker rooms. And quite recently The Kahnawake Gaming Commission has signed an agreement with the Financial Services Regulatory Commission for Antigua and Barbuda and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. It has become a significant step in these sphere, as these online gambling jurisdictions are considered to be well-trusted and highly reputable ones.

As a mater of fact Kahnawake and Antigua gambling commissions have previous agreement on exchange of licensing information. It was also important, but today the relationship goes even further after the Memorandum of Understanding was hold. Now these two jurisdictions are in a close cooperation with each other. Today an online casino or a poker room which has obtained a license at one these organizations may apply for an inter-jurisdictional authorization from another body. It means, that an operator who posses of this authorization may be hosted in either jurisdiction. However, the organization which will be responsible for regulation of an operator’s activity will be the one, which issued license the first. This agreement was signed between two jurisdiction bodies and it will come into force in 90 days and in other words in the middle of September.

What is it necessary? As a matter of fact, it was necessary to demonstrate, that different gambling jurisdictions work the same way and that they have one and the same object. And its object is safe and fair gaming. Moreover, it will make licensing more convenient for casino operators, as it will give more flexibility and will make the choice not so difficult problem.

As for the agreement the Kahnawake Gaming Commission with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, it was signed in May, 2010. The object of this agreement was an “…efficient and reasonable channel for the exchange of information and material with respect to past, existing and prospective licensees for the purpose of ensuring effective regulation between both jurisdictions.” It was also an important step especially for the Alderney, as this company is not as famous as Kahnawake, though it is included into “white list” of the UK.

And besides all above mentioned purposes, all these jurisdiction companies try to struggle with U.S. legislation, which, despite the approval of the Chamber of Commerce, doesn’t allow them working at the territory of this country.

Moreover, all these tendencies illustrate global cooperation in the world of online casino gambling. It is definitely an advantage for casino operatorsб as it will be much easier for them to get necessary agreements and to apply for the help if any problems arise. And we are sure that these agreements have become only the beginning of future cooperation of online casino jurisdictions.
